Moms’ Angels is a community initiative in the Greater Toronto Area, founded by Cristina. After losing her mother at the age of six, Cristina consciously processED her grief in adulthood. Her personal journey of resilience and empowerment inspired the creation of Moms’ Angels, an organization dedicated to supporting youth who have also experienced the loss of their mothers. Through this initiative, she aims to provide guidance, comfort, and a sense of community for those navigating similar experiences.

The initiative  supports motherless youth and their families through meaningful events and community partnerships. One of the highlights is the annual Mother’s Day Tree-Planting Commemoration, where participants plant trees in memory of their mothers. Over the years, fundraising efforts have made it possible to install a memorial bench at Fleetwood Park in Mississauga, Ontario, marking the site of the very first tree-planting gathering. These initiatives create lasting, tangible reminders of love, remembrance, and connection.
